Love in the Air (Love Plans Series, Book 21) is a Kindle eBook, published on September 1, 2026.
The setting is inspired by the snowstorm nightmare I experienced while traveling to Chicago in January for my son’s birthday.
We were flying over Ohio when the seatbelt sign suddenly lit up and the plane jolted. The turbulence subsided for a few minutes, only to return with even stronger bumps and jerks. Soon, the captain announced that a blizzard was sweeping across the northern region. He explained that landing in Chicago was no longer possible and that we had been directed to continue on to Detroit.
My husband and I spent six long hours in the Detroit airport, sitting on the floor against a wall. We felt lucky to find an electrical outlet where we could charge our phones and laptops while we waited. Finally, we arrived in Chicago at four o’clock in the morning.
Inspired by that unforgettable winter adventure, Love in the Air (Love Plans Series, Book 21) is now available at the special introductory price of $2.99.
Thank you for being such loyal readers and for supporting my books throughout the years. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.
Happy reading!

Dr. Carter Peck is desperate to distance himself from his mother’s ward—a childhood friend whose infatuation and guilt have long smothered him. Heading to Chicago for a job interview at the Winston Clinic, Carter’s flight is delayed by a blizzard and a medical emergency on board. He volunteers to help, alongside Nicole Strass, a nurse returning home with her spirited grandmother. Sparks fly in the cabin. Love blooms at the hospital.
But when Nicole generously opens her apartment to a young mother with twin babies, and Carter’s clingy past shows up uninvited, their fragile new romance is tested. Between meddling guests, emotional baggage, and the chaos of hospital life, Carter and Nicole must decide if love is worth the mess and whether happily-ever-after can survive the storm.
