Amazon left an invitation to create audiobooks next to some of my titles. [Your eBook is eligible for an audiobook.] and [Add an audiobook with virtual voice]. While it costs a lot in money and time to create an audiobook–choose a narrator, try it, listen to the narration, publish,… With Amazon AI voice the whole procedure hardly takes a couple of hours.
Pick a virtual voice for your audiobook. Play samples to hear what they sound like. You can change voices at any time. Amazon offers ten voices to choose from. I chose a feminine American English when most of my story is in my heroine’s point of view; and masculine American English when most of my story is in my hero’s point of view. Then I listened to the ‘voice’ narrate the story. Sometimes I have to correct the pronunciation–very easy to do.
Bingo!!! Now I have 8 audiobooks for your entertainment!
